About Me

"We all dream.  We never know that our dreams may one day become our reality, as is the case with Gregourmet Catering.”

Being raised by my grandparents exposed me to many different cuisines at a very young age.  As a truck driver, my grandfather ate at lots of different places.  His truck driving dining experiences became my culinary travels.  I remember as a little boy watching my grandmother make sweet potato pies for Thanksgiving with nothing more than a handheld mixer, Tupperware bowl and spoon.  Little did I know that this was the beginning of my culinary training.

I remember my grandmother having stuff in the house that I would experiment with such as pita bread.  I remember filling the pita bread with sliced hot dogs, shredded cheese and onions and cooking in the toaster oven.  I don’t know what it was called, but it was good and it was my creation.  I was getting it in before the microwave era!

To date, I've graduated from The Restaurant School At Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA with an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts.  I am also ServSafe certified and have been working professionally in the hospitality industry for a little over 2 years.
